American Flyer was an American folk rock band, formed in 1976 by members of Pure Prairie League & Little Feat (Craig Fuller), Blues Magoos (Eric Kaz), Blood, Sweat And Tears (Steve Katz), and The Velvet Underground (Doug Yule).. They only released two albums, "American Flyer" (1976) and "Spirit of a Woman" (1977), before splitting up in 1978.
