Amadou & Mariam are a musical duo from Mali, composed of the couple [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Mariam+Doumbia]Mariam Doumbia[/url] (vocals) and [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Amadou+Bagayoko]Amadou Bagayoko[/url] (guitar and vocals). The pair, who are both blind, met at Mali's Institute for the Young Blind, and found they shared an interest in music.
