Alvin Ranglin

As a radio and television technician involved in the jukebox industry Ranglin soon acquired his own sound system he named 'GG' which became his nickname (his sister has a "Gloria" label and his girlfriend is called Gloria, he becomes GG's !... you can see sometimes "Gloria allstars" instead of GG allstars). By the mid 1960s he opened his own TV repair shop in May Pen (same town as Toots (May tals) or the May tones !)and started to produce records, he developed his business by buying jukeboxes, operating his own studio, record shops and labels (Hit, GG's Records, Typhoon (2), Power Pack (3) & Volcano (6)). Many tracks he produced feature his studio band G.G. Allstars.
