Alsou is a Russian singer and actress. Born 27 June 1983 in Bugulma, Tatarstan, RSFSR, USSR. She represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000, in which she received the 2nd place with the song [url=http://discogs.com/master/287621]Solo[/url], giving her recognition across Europe. She hosted the final of the 2009 contest held in Moscow.
