Alondra de la Parra (born October 31, 1980) is a Mexican conductor. She was also the founder and artistic director of the New York-based Orquesta Filarmonica de Las Americas. Currently she is the artist director of the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra. She stepped down at the end of the 2013 season. In October, 2015, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra announced that she will become its Music Director and principal conductor in 2017; she will be the first woman ever to hold that post.
