Alhaji K. Frimpong

Ghanaian highlife guitarist, composer, arranger and lead vocalist. Born: July, 22 1939 (Ofoase, Ashanti Region, Ghana) Died: October, 18 2005 (Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana) Entered right into music in 1952 joining with [b]Axim Jokers[/b], [b]Star De Republic[/b], [a2094667] and [b]K. Gyasi's Guitar[/b]. In the 1970s he decided to form his own band [b]Cubano Fiestas[/b] and recorded with two different bands, [a627587] led by [a1176916] and [a1850605]. His two sons are rappers named [a1916094] and Kofi Kapone.
