Alexander Warenberg

Classical pianist, born 1952 in Kharkov, U.S.S.R. (now Ukraine). Not to be confused with cellist [a15085058]. He was a piano student of [a2750540] at the Leningrad Conservatoire, and emigrated to Western Europe in July 1977. After having been a professor at [l1409293], The Netherlands, he was a recitalist, concerto and chamber music player. After damage within his right arm, he moved to rural Belgium where he continued as a composer and arranger for film and television. Formed the Amsterdam Piano Trio, with violinist Shin Sihan and pianist [a12317812] in 2017.
