Alesha started out as the MC with girl band Mis-Teeq who split in 2005. She married former So Solid Crew member Michael Harvey (MC Harvey) the same year. She launched a solo career in August 2006 with the single 'Lipstick'. Alesha is possibly best known outside the UK for her appearance as a dancer in the video for [a=N*E*R*D]'s single "She Wants To Move"
