Albert Roussel (born April 5, 1869, Tourcoing, Nord, France - died August 23, 1937, Royan, Charente-Maritime, France) was a French composer. His earlier works were strongly influenced by the impressionism of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, his later works turning more towards neoclassicism.
