German Christian music protagonist, born 1964 in Swabia. Frey studied musical engineering, after he learned to play organ and other instruments during his childhood.
In 1984, he joined the Christian Rock band Effata. In the 1990's he performed in Christian music and raised his first recording studio. In 1995, he joined the Feiert Jesus!-series as producer from #2, a task, he fulfils until today.
He got married to Andrea Adams-Frey in 2001, with who he performed on a number of recordings. They moved to Hohenlohe-region, where Frey opened his studio Schafhofstudio, Hohenlohe. A number of Christian music projects followed, accompanied with numerous publication and songbooks.
