Akie Yoshizawa is a retired Japanese actress and idol from the 1980's multi-member Idol group Onyanko Club, in which she was member #25.
Akie is one of only 16 Onyanko Club members who also had solo releases while being a member of the group. She acted in the film "スケバン刑事II_少女鉄仮面伝説" [Sukeban Detective II: The Legend of Girls Iron Mask] and also sung the theme to the film,"なぜ?の嵐".
A large portion of her output was written primarily by songwriter, 山梨鐐平 [Ryōhei Yamanashi].
After retiring in 1991, she worked in the publishing industry and published an autobiography in 1993.
