Aki was known for being the tallest member of the group at 5'7" in height. She was also involved in the "Bunshun Smoking Scandal" being the only one of six Onyanko Club members allowed to return to the group after their picture was published of them smoking at a cafe while being minors.

Although Aki never had any solo releases during her time with the group, she was a member of the Onyanko Club comedy sub-group Nyangilas.

At the time of dissolution of Onyanko Club, she was lowest numbered member to not have graduated from the group.

Aki married a Dutch man and currently lives in Holland but is still very active in Onyanko Club reunions and concerts.
