Achim Nica (20.01.1930 (Obreja,Caras-Severin County) - 23.11.2012, was a romanian traditional folk singer from Banat Region, also known as "Doinitorul Banatului". He started his career in music at the age of 30, debuting with the his first song "La Obreja-ntro gradina" (At Obreja In A Garden") in 1964. During his career he recorded 8 singles and albums on vinyl discs and 4 audio cassettes.
