A death metal band from Vantaa/Helsinki, Finland, founded in early 1989.
Abhorrence was one of the first Finnish death metal bands, but their initial career was very short as they disbanded already in 1990. After the split guitarist Tomi Koivusaari immediately went on to form Amorphis together with Jan Rechberger and Esa Holopainen.
Band has been active again from year 2012 onwards.
