Ανάσα Στάχτη (trans.: "Breath Ash" - roman.: "Anasa Stachti") formed in April 1992, in Athens, Greece. The members were Thanasis (ex Χαοτικό Τέλος) voice, Nikos (ex "Isopedosi") guitar and voice, Kostas (ex Skatopsychi") bass and Themis, drums. Later some members changed, and Yannis Dimitropoulos (ex "Αναβίωση", later played in "Anatellon Tromos") played bass and Giorgos Makris (ex [a=Άκρως Αντίθετοι]) played drums. They recorded some of their tracks at "Red House Studio" in June 1993, which were released in April 1994 on 7". They gave many concerts in independent venues in Athens, Thessaloniki and Patra, and in several of them with "'Akros Antithetoi".


On 4/6/1994 they performed live at Villa Amalias (Athens), with 'Doom', '[a=Σύγκρουση]' & 'Απορία'. On 12/5/1995 they performed live at Villa Amalias with '[a=Madonna's Cunt]' and Justine's Mirror Twist. On 30/6/1995 they performed live at 'Do it Yourself Festival' (Pedion Tou Areos, Athens - Organized by Villa Amalias), with 'Μάστιγα', 'Νεκρική Σιγή' & 'Κρίκος'. On 23/4/199? they performed live at Grava High School (Galatsi, Athens), with '[a=Ρήγμα]', 'Όλεθρος' & '[a=The Black House (2)]'.

In April 1996 they participate in the d.i.y. compilation "Disturbance of Domestic Peace" with some new members: Makis (bass), Giorgos (drums) and Dora (vocals). In September of the same year they tour in Germany. In 1997 they participate in the collection "Genocide No. 2" with the tracks "Στα Γρανάζια Του Αύριο" and "Καταδίκη".
