Øresund Space Collective

Formed in Denmark in 2004 as a collective of Danish, Swedish and American musicians doing free form improvised space rock music. The band has evolved into a large changing collective that plays many concerts and festivals including Roadburn, Freak Valley, Roskilde, Occultrance, Psychedelic Network, Burg Herzberg, Psycho Las Vegas, Reverence Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Slotskoggen goes Progressive and others..

The collective of nearly 60 musicians has featured current and former members of the Danish bands Mantric Muse, The Universals and Gas Giant as well as the Swedish bands Bland Bladen. Additional musicians from the Swedish bands the Carpet Knights, First Band From Outer Space, Drahk Von Trip, Siena Root and Sgt. Sunshine have also played with them. The collective is evolving all the time. In recent years members from Black Moon Circle, Fri Galaxe, The Univerzals, Camper Van Beethoven, Agusa and others have played in the collective.
